Loughborough Concert Band

This concert marked a third year with All Saint’s Church, Thurcaston. It’s a concert the whole band enjoys especially for the kind hospitality of our hosts! Our programme, compered again by Eddie Pearson, was enthusiastically received by an audience that included young and old.

Solo spots were taken by Kevin Massey on trumpet (I Dreamed a Dream) among others, as we played Kiss me Kate and March Lorraine both fairly new pieces for the band and old favourites such as Palladio, The Lost Chord and An American Trilogy.

A member of the audience who has attended all three concerts was kind enough to say we get better and better… so the pressure’s on for next year!
